Herbert "Mickey" Clinton Mixson, Jr., age 54, passed away on May 31, 2007. A native of Charleston, SC, he was the son of the late Herbert Clinton Mixson, Sr. and Josephine Stone Mixson. Mickey was an electronics technician at the Norfolk Naval Base.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda N. Mixson of Portsmouth; two sons, Nicholas R. Mixson of Franklin and Jamie L. Mixson of Suffolk; and two brothers, Joseph R. Mixson of Georgia and William E. Mixson of Charleston, SC.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, June 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home. Visitation will follow immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, Suffolk Chapter, 604 Constance Woods Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434.
