Herbert Gordon Dooley, 81, of Zuni, VA passed away April 28, 2010. He was born in Sanderson, TX the son of the late Lloyd Dooley and Mary E. Hall Dooley. He was also predeceased by his son, Kelly Dooley. He was a veteran having served in the United States Navy during WWII and receiving the WWII Victory Medal. Herbert retired as a sales representative from Beach Chemicals he later went on to become a Walmart greeter. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and past president of the Musicians Union.

Herbert is survived by his wife Patsy Sumner Dooley; daughter, Ginger Washburn of TX; son and daughter-in-law, Brady and Kim Dooley of GA; stepdaughters and husbands, Laura and Bobby Arnold, Pam and Mason Clark all of Zuni, VA; step son, Jim Wright of Norfolk, VA; grandchildren, Chandra Birdwell, Zack Washburn, Gabe Washburn, Nicole Dooley, Malcom Dooley, Michelle Chandler, Ciara Clark, Noah Clark, Chris Arnold, Jessica Dooley, Austin Dooley, Jim Wright, Justin Wright, Katrina Wright; great grandchildren, McKenzie Dooley, Sterling Dooley, Theresa Birdwell, Christian Chandler, Jonah Godines, and Aaron Bleen.
