Helen Elizabeth McNeal Davis Hollowell, 99, passed away June 21, 2024.  She was born in Lively, VA.  She was predeceased by her first husband, Arthur Robert Davis; her second husband, Edward Hollowell; and brother, James McNeal.  Helen worked as the manager for Davis Lakes Campground.  She was a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church.

Helen is survived by her children, Robert A. Davis (Lorrie), Denise D. Thomas (Andy), and T. Neal Davis (Denise); grandchildren, Owen Davis, Lisa Gwyn, and Matthew Ryan Davis; 6 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and nephews, David and Dale McNeal.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Alan Cruz officiating.  Entombment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Suffolk Humane Society, 412 Kings Fork Rd., Suffolk, VA 23434.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.  The family would like to give special thanks to Helen's caregivers Felicia and Karen.
