Helen May Moore, 92, of Suffolk, VA passed away August 16, 2012. She was born in Corapeake, NC the daughter of the late Ellie and Wallace Mathias. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, John Dorsey Moore, Sr. She retired from A & P Tea Company.

Helen is survived by her sons, John D. Moore, Jr., Wilbur Lee Moore and wife, Deborah; grandsons, Robert Moore, Allen Moore and wife, Michelle; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Faye Moore and Hannah Jade Moore; sisters, Margie Duck and Barbara Ann Newman.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Roger D. Johnson officiating. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Sunday from 3-4 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at her residence.
