Helen Theresa Kaczmarczyk Franz, 94, passed away January 4, 2015. She was born in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of the late Martin and Victoria Kaczmarczyk. She was predeceased by her husband, William Alexander Franz, Jr.; three sisters; five brothers; and son-in-law, Tom Becker. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas in Saginaw, MI from 1991-2001 and then later attended St. Mary's of the Presentation in Suffolk, VA.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Helen Becker of Suffolk, VA; son and daughter-in-law, William M. and Mary Franz of Edenton, NC; grandchildren and their spouses, Lori Wilson ("Tadpole" Jerry), Bret Becker (Ineke), Keith Franz (Helen), Denise Russell (Charles), Victoria Pritchard (Ricky); seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and sister, Agnes Lange of Pontiac, MI.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 6 - 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015, at St. Thomas Aquinas, 5376 State St., Saginaw, MI 48603 with Fr. Richard Bokinskie officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, MI. Friends may visit with the family at W.L.
