Helen Carr Eure, 93, of Windsor, VA passed away January 19, 2018. She was born in Windsor, VA the daughter of the late Roy C. Carr, Sr. and Elizabeth Jenkins Carr. Helen is also predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Stephen Edward Eure, Jr.; sister, Kathryn Carr Whitley; brother, R. Cleafe Carr, Jr.; and nephew, Henry James "Jimmie" Whitley, Jr. She formerly worked at Leggett's Department Store in the shoe department. She was a member of Colosse Baptist Church.

Helen is survived by a great niece, Beth Whitley Paradis and husband, Michael; great great niece, Heather Hughes; and a special family friend, Cindi Fulgham.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Colosse Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Webb officiating. Entombment will be in the Carr Mausoleum. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Tuesday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.
