Helen Esteleta Cook, 98, of Suffolk, VA passed away on February 6, 2013. A native of Sesser, IL she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Brown and Maggie Rizzly Brown. She was also predeceased by her husband, Lyle Jasper Cook, a daughter Lila L. Cook Raul and her daughter-in-law, Virginia Britton Cook.

She is survived by her son, James Alonzo Cook, Sr. of Suffolk and a brother Roy Brown of Mt. Vernon, IL. ; grandchildren; and great grandchildren

Friends may join the family Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory from 3-5 p.m. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton, IL.
