Helen Boyce Britton, 85, of Suffolk, VA passed away on April 8, 2013. A native of Suffolk she was the daughter of the late Lafayette Boyce and Maggie Estelle Wilkins Boyce. She was also predeceased by her husband James Johnson Britton and her daughter, Virginia B. Cook. Helen was an inspector for 47 years at Birdsong Peanuts and a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church.

She is survived by her grandchildren and their spouses: Lyle Dale Cook (Ann), Roy Allen Cook and James A. Cook, Jr. (Katrina); a sister, Grace B. Ellis and son-in-law, James A. Cook, Sr.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Chris Surber and Dr. Willis I. Dowling officiating.
