Helen Louise Babb Green, 84, of Suffolk, VA passed away on May 15, 2012. A native of Nansemond County, VA she was the daughter of the late L. C. Babb and Martha Harris Babb. She was predeceased by her husband, William "Bill" Green, Sr. and sister, Martha "Sissy" Wroten. She was a member of Cypress Chapel Christian Church.

Helen is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Connie G. and Jerry Allen; son, William "Billy" Green, Jr. and special friend, Carolyn Seabolt; grandchildren, Scott Cornette, Angela Allen, Dawn Maus and Sheila Tinkham; six great grandchildren; sister, Jean Babb Simpkins; brothers, Frank E. Babb, Sr., Arthur S. Babb, John E. Babb and Ralph O. Babb; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, with Rev. Chris Surber and Dr. Willis Dowling officiating. Burial will follow at Cypress Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the funeral home on Thursday night from 7 – 8 p.m. and other times at the residence of Connie and Jerry Allen.
