Hazel Ruth Worton, 74, of Suffolk passed away on December 12, 2008. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Inez Wharton and was also predeceased by her sister, Jeanette Yosai.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Leonard Worton; two daughters and sons-in-law Laura and Kenneth Kestas of Naperville, IL and Julie and Randy Fiel of Suffolk; one son, Michael L. and Donna Worton of Albuquerque, New Mexico; seven grandchildren, Tony Lee , Michael and Julie Kestas and Rachael, Hazel, Randi Lynn and Laura Fiel; and one brother, Joe Wharton of Las Vegas, NV.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2008 at 2:00
p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Friends may join the family for visitation. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
