Harry "Dick" Richard McClelland, 82, of Suffolk, VA passed away July 20, 2009. He was born in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania and was predeceased by his parents, Harry Boyd McClelland and Olive Moore Carnahan McClelland and a niece, Diane Louise Davidson. He was a U. S. Navy veteran having served during WWII. He was a 1951 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Dick worked as a Purchasing Agent specializing in power plant construction around the country before retiring in 1991. He was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church and the American Legion Post #0141.

Dick is survived by his wife of 28 years, Carol Anne McClelland; daughter, Tracy Lynn Graham and husband Todd of Patchogue, NY; son, James Craig Dundas and wife Sue of Kure Beach, NC; adopted sons, Ed and Shane; grandchildren, Ronald James and Ashley Marie Leicht, Jessika Marie and Shaunna Rose Dundas; great grandchild, Michael Jonathan Dundas; sister, Audrey Jean Davidson of Edmonton, Canada; nephew, Patrick Richard Davidson and wife, Patricia of Golden, Colorado; several cousins, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law; many long time friends and his special pet "Angel."

Friends may join the family Monday night at 6 – 8:00 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA for a time of visitation and remembrance.
