Harriett Jean Burkhart Evans, 56, of Suffolk, VA passed away on May 9, 2008. She was a native of Logan, Iowa, a member of Trinity Christian Church and the Adult Sunday School Class.

Harriett is survived by her husband of 37 years, David Eugene Evans of Suffolk; her parents, Harold and Jean Bamford Burkhart of Logan, Iowa; and a son, Michael S. Evans, of Suffolk; two sisters and three brothers.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, May 11, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. at Trinity Christian Church, with Rev. Byron McCreary officiating.
