Harold Gregory Parker, 85, went home to be with the LORD on December 28, 2023. He died peacefully in his NC beach home with family by his side.

Born in Nansemond County VA on April 29, 1938, Harold was the son of Sarah Sue Goodman Parker and Seth Parker. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and retired from VDOT as a Materials Engineer after 41 years of service.

Harold was loved and admired for his strength and dedication to his family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years, Nancy Joyner Parker. He leaves behind a legacy through his two daughters, Hope P. Lovejoy (Dale) and Gaye P. Hammer and their families. He was exceptionally proud of his grandchildren: Blair L. Hoffpauir (Daniel), Aaron C. Lovejoy, Parker A. Hammer, and Smith F. Hammer, as well as his great grandchildren: Savannah, Garrett, and Zachary Hoffpauir. He is also survived by his sister Ola P. Drewry and his faithful dog, Holly.

Services will be private.
