Grace Lops Sibilia, 86, passed away September 24, 2010. She was born in Corato, Italy the daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria Quinto Lops. Grace worked as a seamstress for numerous years. She was predeceased by her husband, John B. Sibilia and her granddaughter, Hunter Elizabeth Jones. She was a member of St. Mary's of the Presentation in Suffolk, VA and later became a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Virginia Beach.

Grace is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Grace S. and Mark Jones of Virginia Beach, VA; sons and daughters-in-law, John and Terry Sibilia of Gansevoort, NY, Sal and Tammy Sibilia of Windsor, VA; grandchildren, Josh Sibilia (Jennifer), Sarae S. Joyner (Michael), Dan Sibilia, Kristen Sibilia, Katelyn Jones, and Natalie Jones; great grandchildren, Ava Joyner and Caleb Sibilia; sisters, Tina Palli and Rosa Sibilia both of Italy; numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's of the Presentation with Father Steve DeLeon officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. The Rosary will be prayed on Monday night at 6 p.m. led by the Knights of Columbus at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA followed by a visitation from 7-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O.
