Grace Irene Ellis Dusch, 92, passed away August 13, 2025. Grace was born in Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Matthew and Ivera Smeal Ellis. She is predeceased by her husband, Richard Dale Dusch Sr; daughter, Lori D. Hughes; and brothers, Jimmy and Gary Ellis. Grace was a member of CrossPointe Church.

Grace is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Thea Dusch; grandchildren, Kyle Hughes, Drew Hughes, Nick Hughes, and Brandon Hughes; sister, Norma Mowery; brother and sister-in-law, Chip and Peggy Ellis; son-in-law, Scott Hughes; sister-in-law, Beverly Ellis; and faithful companion, Cami.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at CrossPointe Church, 2460 Pruden Boulevard, Suffolk, VA 23434 on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. David Sexton officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. A private inurnment will be held on a later date at Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
