Gloria Jean Chesley, 64, of Chesapeake, VA passed away March 29, 2013. She was a native of Nansemond County, VA, the daughter of Mary F. Severino Babb and the late Nick L. Severino. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Gene and Tommy. She was an office supervisor at A Closer Look, Inc.

In addition to Gloria's mother she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Alan "Al" Chesley; daughter Cyndi Sheppard; son Bryan Riley and wife, Jennifer; grandchildren, Taylor, Jake, and Allyson; three stepchildren Angela, Alan Paul and Rusty; eleven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Underwood and husband Robert, Valrie McHugh, and Berlene Byrum.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran Cemetery with Rev. Charles W. Thompson officiating. Friends may join the family for visitation Tuesday evening at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr. Suffolk, VA 23434 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and other times at residence.
