Glenn Edward "Killer" Ellis of Suffolk, Virginia passed away on August 1, 2023. Born on September 26, 1941, he was the son of the late Gilmer "Gus" Ellis and Hazel Boyette Ellis Harrison and stepson of James Harrison. He is also predeceased by his sister, Nancy Ellis Daniels.Glenn was a faithful member of Suffolk Christian Church, where he was a member of the Baraca Sunday School class and served on the newsletter crew and enjoyed many memories with the Saints Alive fellowship group. He was lifelong sport fanatic, who enjoyed movies and sports statistics. He was also a lifetime Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed pulling for his NASCAR Ford teams, and NY Yankees. He was a member of Suffolk Masonic Lodge #30, Suffolk Moose Lodge #141, and Magnolia Ruritan Club.

Left to cherish his memory are his brother and sister in law, Allen R. and Pat B. Ellis; and sister and brother in law, Amanda H. and William C. Goodwin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service with Masonic rites will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Suffolk Christian Church at 11:00 am with Rev. Dr. Tracy Hartman, Rev. Michael D. Halley, and Rev. Ricky Garza officiating. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in memory of Glenn Ellis to Suffolk Christian Church, 216 N Main St, Suffolk, VA 23434.
