Glenda Howell Minga, 59, of Windsor, Virginia passed away July 31, 2006. She was the Clerk of the General District Court in Isle of Wight County where she served for 24 years. Glenda was a member of Colosse Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Virginia Clerks Association for District Courts. She was the daughter of the late, Marion Ellsworth Howell and was also predeceased by a sister.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 40 years, William Frank Minga, Sr.; mother, Grace S. Howell; daughter and son-in-law, Glenie M. and Dale Jones; son, William Frank Minga, Jr. all of Windsor, VA; grandchildren, Andrew Turner, Clay and Colt Copeland, W.N. and Ashley Minga, Brandon and Colby Jones; sisters, Gloria Howell Price and Gina Howell Buckner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, August 3, 2006 at 6:00 p.m. at Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim Webb officiating. Friends may join the family Wednesday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Colosse Baptist Church Youth Group at 6361 Rhodes Dr. Windsor, VA 23487.
