Glen Alden Stephenson, 83, passed away February 1, 2020.  He was born in Tipton, WVA the son of the late John Stephenson and Lena B. Ostovich.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Robin Jaggers; 2 infant sons; sister, Virginia Brennan; and brother, Bobby Stephenson.  Glen retired from the United States Navy having served during Vietnam.  He later went on to work at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard and for Mary Baldwin University.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish.

Glen is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nettie B. Stephenson; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda Fleming, Regina and Rick Grizzle; and Jim Jaggers; son, Michael Stephenson; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.

Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  The family is requesting no flowers.
