Gerald Ross Parker, 36, passed away August 10, 2014. He was born in Norfolk, VA the son of Shirley J. Parker and the late Gerald "Jerry" Parker. He worked as a sheet metal fabricator for The Canada Company. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and attended The Garage Ministry. Ross was an amazing husband, father, and son. He loved playing music and riding motorcycles.

Ross is survived by his wife of 7 years, Aly Parker; mother, Shirley Parker; daughters, Kyla R. and Velvet A. Parker; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Nansemond Suffolk Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a visitation Wednesday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory and other times at the residence of Shirley Parker.
