George William Willman, Jr., 93, of Suffolk, VA passed away October 2, 2015. He was born in Princess Anne County, Virginia to the late George and Laura Willman. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Suzanne Rosemary Willman. He retired as a machinist for Plasser American Corp. George was a U.S. Navy WWII veteran. He was a prolific inventor, tinkerer and master machinist. He stayed active and curious his whole life.
George is survived by his wife of 74 years, Dorothy Mae Jones Willman; sons and daughters-in-law, George William Willman, III (Sarah), Joseph McCoy Willman (Sue), Bernard Kelley Willman, and Terry Wayne Willman; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service with military honors will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 12 noon at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Reynolds officiating.
