George Tommy Wilkinson, 83, of Suffolk, passed away Friday, January 9, 2015 surrounded by his family and constant companions Kozzee and Roni. George was born on December 13, 1931 in Portsmouth to the late George G. and Loretta V. Wilkinson. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He retired from the U.S. Government at NNSY and Supshipjax with 37 years of service. Tommy was a past member of the Portsmouth Moose Lodge #898 and the Marlin Club.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gail F. Wilkinson; son, Michael S. Wilkinson; daughters, Vickie L. Wilkinson (Thomas Fletcher) of Culpeper, VA and Bonni S. Wilkinson; and grandson, Michael K. Wilkinson.

Tommy's visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, from 1 - 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home in Suffolk, VA. His service will follow at 2 p.m. His burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery in Portsmouth, VA.
