George "Bobby" R. Wright, 82, passed away November 2, 2023.  He was born in Nansemond County, VA the son of the late Will Herman Wright, Sr. and Helen Ashley Wright.  He was predeceased by his brother, Will "Billy" Herman Wright, Jr.  Bobby retired from International Paper.  He owned and operated Bobby and Brenda's Lawnmower Service for numerous years.  He was a member of Nansemond Suffolk Shooting Club where he served as Treasurer for over 20 years.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 60 years, Brenda Lynn Wright; sister, Jane Wright Aston, sister-in-law, Phyllis H. Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews.
