George Richard Hurdle, 69, of Zuni, VA passed away January 18, 2007. He was born in Baltimore, MD the son of the late George Foster Hurdle and Mary Warren Hurdle. He retired as a Lieutenant for the Suffolk Fire Department.

George is survived by his daughter, Sherry Smith of Suffolk, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Richard Warren Hurdle and Candace R. Hurdle of Windsor, VA; grandson, Brandon S. Hudson; and brother, Vernon Hurdle of TX.

A graveside service will be held Monday, January 22, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Chapel with Retired Fireman Honors. Rev. David G. Henson will be officiating.
