George Douglas Beamon, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends. He was born in Suffolk, VA and worked as a painter and in construction. He was a history buff and an avid hunter. He will be missed by his wife, Beverly N. Beamon; children, Bryan Beamon and his wife Missy, Stacey Saunders and her husband Ted, and Kevin Holland and his wife Joanne; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
