Gayle Parrish Tarkelsen, 61, went to be with our Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, May 1st, 2009. She was the daughter of the late Donald Raymond Parrish and Georgia Putnam Parrish. She was preceeded in death by her sister Carol Parrish Wilkenson. She is survived by her loving husband, Taral Greg Tarkelsen, a brother Donald Raymond Parrish, her son Robert Leigh Fisher III, and her daughter Tara Georgia Tarkelsen. She leaves a legacy of two grandchildren, Staysha Leigh Fisher and Elijah Patrick Fisher and one great grandchild Zane Alexander Garland.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Eureka Baptist Church in Corapeake, NC. 1601 NC 32 North.
