Gary Richard Fitzgerald, 59, of Suffolk, VA passed away April 4, 2011. He was born in Newport News, VA the son of the late Hyacinth Moore Fitzgerald and Richard Joseph Fitzgerald. Gary worked as a cabinet maker and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the ManPower Hunt Club.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Sarah E. Fitzgerald; son, Jonathan W. Fitzgerald; their mother, Susan J. Jones all of Suffolk, VA; grandchild, Devin Fitzgerald; sister, Joey F. Carter of Buena Vista, VA; brothers, David J. Fitzgerald of Suffolk, and Tracy M. Fitzgerald of Newport News, VA.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, April 8, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Keith Emerson officiating. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation Thursday night from 7-8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA.
