Gary Lee Blevins, 70, passed away December 11, 2019. He was born in Marion, VA to the late Telsie "Bill" Reeves Blevins and Carolyn Wilma McClure Blevins. Gary was a US Navy Veteran having served more than 20 years and retired as a Senior Chief Parachute Rigger. He received the Navy Marine Corp Medal and served in the Vietnam War. Gary is predeceased by his sister, Sandy Blevins.

Gary is survived by his wife of 19 years, Lynn Blevins; sons, Gary Reeves Blevins (Jamie), Andrew David Blevins; grandchild, Brennan Blevins; sister, Jeanne Blevins Nichols (David); brothers, David Blevins, Sr. (Lori), Larry Blevins (Cindy), Richard Blevins (Sylvia); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Richard "Dick" Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
