Fred Allen Nurney, 71, passed away December 3, 2019.  He was born in Isle of Wight County, VA the son of the late Quinton and Mary Nurney.  He was predeceased by his brother, Quinton Nurney, Jr.  Fred worked as a farmer and then was employed by Isle of Wight County Public Works for 12 years.  He was a member of Central Hill Baptist Church and the Central Hill Hunt Club.

Fred is survived by his sister, Katherine Marie Whitley; aunt, Mary Jane Pippins; uncle, Raleigh Ray Nurney; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Mill Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev.
