Frank Murry Whitley, 81, of Suffolk, VA passed away June 15, 2015. He was born in North Carolina to the late Henry D. and Lessie F. Whitley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Frank was a member of First Baptist Church and American Legion Post 141.

Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary W. Whitley; sister and brother-in-law, Ramona and Dan Sadler; brother, Mack Whitley; and adopted family, Ernest, Vivian, Kelly and Michael Ellis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev. David Edgell officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
