Frank Wythe Grubbs, 86, passed away on December 17, 2025. He was born in Richmond, Virginia to the late Lillian Virginia Howard and Frank Berry Grubbs Jr. He served in the US Army and later became a Civil Engineer P.E. He was an avid football Hokie Club fan.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Diane Grubbs; children, Lisa Hamaker (Rex) and Lori Wooten (Rodd); stepchildren, Kellie Floyd (Keith), Troy Merritt, Sue Blei (Michael), Mark Merritt, and Kevin Merritt; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and brother, Ronald Grubbs (Nancy).

Frank's graveside service will be 3:00 pm, Friday, January 16, 2026 at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Rex Hamaker Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 pm, Sunday, December 28, 2025 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Virginia Tech Hokie Club in honor of Frank.
