Frances Radcliff Thiede, 88, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away April 17, 2011. She was born in Barberton, OH the daughter of the late Geneva Heft Radcliff and Wilkie Radcliff. Predeceased by her son Richard Dennis Thiede and sister Jean Seiberling and special aunt Helen Hossler. Frances retired as a Receipt Control Operator from the U.S. Naval Supply Center in Norfolk ,VA . She was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of Peace United Methodist Church in Fredericksburg, VA. For many years Frances and Harry lived in Virginia Beach .

Frances is survived by her husband of 65 years Harry H. Thiede, daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Thiede and Butch Range of Fredericksburg,VA; and daughter-in-law, Peggy E. Thiede of Suffolk,VA ,3 grandchildren, Shelley L. Joyner [Jonathan],Erik N. Thiede [Andria] and Geoffery Range; 1 great grandchild Jayce A. Joyner; sisters, Phyllis McClain and Carol Spitzer.

A graveside funeral service with Military Honors will be held Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Albert G. Horton ,Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery with Pastor David Erickson officiating. A visitation will be Wednesday April 20, 2011 from 7:00-8:00 p.m.in Parr Funeral Home and Crematory 3515 Robs Drive Suffolk, VA. 23434. A memorial service will be May 1,2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Peace United Methodist Church.
