On May 24, 2014, Frances went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mary Powell; her husband, Charlie W. Hall; grandson, Jeffrey Wayne Jones; brothers, Randolph, Wallace, and Robert Powell; sisters-in-law, Ruby and Linda Powell; son-in-law, Harry Underwood, Jr. She is survived by: daughters, Jo Anne Underwood, Mary Lou Jones (Ronald), and Donna Lynn West (Carlos); sisters, Virginia Saunders, Helen Saunders, Ann Eley (Dickie), Betty Sue Pippin (Roy Jr.); brothers, Ed Powell (Carolyn), and Charles Powell; sisters-in-law, Judy and Jean Powell. Frances has 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place Friday, May 30, 2014, from 11am-1pm at Parr Funeral Home, Suffolk, VA.
