Floyd "Cecil" Foster born September 10, 1930 in Selma, N.C. Beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather was ushered into the arms of Jesus on November 12, 2011, and was welcomed by a choir of angels.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Janice Foster; 5 children, Vicki, Susua, Barbara, Jennifer, John; two stepsons, Robbie and Roth; 18 grandchildren 5 of whom he raised, Christopher, Christian, Ryan, Brittany and Amanda; one granddaughter in love Samantha; one sister Mary Hamilton, as well as 8 great grandchildren.

Matthew 25:21 - His master replied well done, good and faithful servant, you have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things, come and share your masters happiness.

Cecil was a member of Celebration Christian Church, Suffolk, VA, he was a member of a life group and volunteered when he was able. He was a floor mechanic and proud owner of Foster Floor Covering for 60 years and a member of Nansemond County Deer Club.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434, with Minister Kirk Dice officiating. Following the service there will be a time of visitation with family and friends. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to
