Floyd Allen Bennett, 75, passed away March 21, 2023.  He was born in North Carolina the son of the late Smith Paul Bennett and Jessie Mae Jordan Bennett.  Floyd retired from Nansemond Cold Storage.  He was a member of the Triangle Hunt Club and loved to hunt deer and bear.

Floyd is survived by his daughters, Paula Ann Bennett and Cheryl Lynn Bennett; grandchildren, Glenn E. Jodun III and Paul A. Jodun; and numerous cousins.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Tim Rawls officiating.  Friends may join the family for a time of visitation prior to the service from 12:30 -1:30 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory.  Memorial donations may be made to the Suffolk Humane Society.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
