Florence Etta Davidson Bradley, 87, passed away on November 19, 2009. Born in Suffolk, VA on March 8, 1922 to the late Claude Abram and Blanche Etta March Davidson. Mrs. Bradley survived the Great Depression years and after graduating from Holland High School, worked at the naval base during WWII. She also earned her ten year pin serving with the Red Cross.
She was a homemaker and wife to Arthur Clayton Bradley for over 65 years. She taught Sunday School for over 20 years. Mrs. Bradley was a member of Liberty Baptist Church.

She was predeceased by her brother John C. Davidson and her sister Margaret D. Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Clayton Bradley; daughter Patricia B. Buck; son Shannon C. Bradley and his wife Karen Goodwin Bradley; daughter Dr. Cathy J. Bradley and her husband Dr. Craig D. Perry; grandchildren Billy K. Buck, Colin B. Perry and Matthew C. B. Perry; sister Eva D. Greene, Catherine D. Greene; brother Herbert E. Davidson, brother Claude A. Davidson, Jr. and his wife Hilda B. Davidson; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Davidson, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may join the family from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday at Parr Funeral Home, 3515 Robs Drive in Suffolk. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 22, at Liberty Baptist Church, 116 Romans Road, Suffolk, VA with the Rev. Dr. David Blevins officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery in Suffolk. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Mrs. Bradley's name to Liberty Baptist Church's building fund.
