Fannie Williams Saunders, 97, passed away January 25, 2016. She was born in Walters, VA, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Ethel G. Williams. She was predeceased by her husband, John Britton Saunders, and siblings, Sarah Gilbert, Margaret Griffith, Lizzie Bradshaw, Myrtle Duck, and Carlton Williams. Fannie formerly worked as a nurse and was a member of Windsor Baptist Church.

Fannie is survived by her sisters, Martha L. Bibb, Christine Whitley, Mary Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Windsor Cemetery with Dr. John Corson officiating. Friends may join the family Thursday night from 7-8 p.m. at the Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorial donations may be made to the Windsor Rescue Squad at P.O. Box 636, Windsor, VA 23437.
