Ezekiel Bernard "Zeke" Thomas, born on August 27, 1966, in Beaumont, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, in Houston, TX. At the time of his passing, Zeke was 59 years old.

Zeke proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy, dedicating years of his life to the service and defense of his nation. His commitment to duty and honor was evident throughout his career.

He is preceded in death by his father, Lionel Thomas. Zeke leaves behind his beloved mother, Rose Guidry Cherry, and his cherished daughter, Kayleigh Michelle Thomas, who will forever hold him dear in their hearts.

A funeral service with military honors will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Michael D. Halley. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, which will take place one hour prior to the service, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Zeke's presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
