Estle Ray Blevins, Jr., 71, of Suffolk, passed away March 9, 2014. He was born in Welch, WV to the late Lillian Ruth Forrester Blevins and Estle Ray Blevins, Sr. He is also predeceased by his son, Michael Ray Blevins; sister, Joyce; and brother, Gary. Estle retired from the Newport News Shipyard as machinist. He was a member of St. Mary's of the Presentation Catholic Church, Knights of the Columbus fourth degree, and the Wilroy Ruritan Club.

Estle is survived by his wife of 50 years, JoAnn Marushia Blevins; daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Roddy Kittrell and Jessica and Tony Salyers; grandchildren, Summer and Winnie Salyers and Zoey and Skyler Kittrell; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Jud Robinson; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sue Blevins.

Mass will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 3 p.m. at St. Mary's of the Presentation Catholic Church, 202 S. Broad St., Suffolk, VA 23434, with Father Kenneth Wood officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA. Burial will be held Friday at Roselawn Cemetery, Princeton, WV.
