Ernestine LaVerne Eure, 71, passed away August 22, 2016. She was born in Nansemond County, VA the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Morris, Jr. and Hilda Johnson Morris. She was predeceased by her sister, Ellen Louise Bennett. She was a member of Wilroy Baptist Church and later became a member of Liberty Baptist Church where she attended the Barbara Brinkley Sunday School Class.

Ernestine is survived by her daughter, Deborah M. Jenkins (Rick); grandchildren, Stephanie Renee Gatling (Richard), "R.J." George Raymond Jenkins, III; great grandchildren, Cody Ray Gatling, Jacob Ashton Gatling, Katie Lynn Gatling, and Brendyn Thomas Ray Jenkins; sisters, Nancy M. Wiggins (Herman) and Betty M. Brinkley (Mark); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be private with burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery. She will be available for viewing Wednesday from 12-9 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
