Ernest "Bud" Reed Duplain, 84, passed away November 2, 2013. He was born in Princess Anne County, VA the son of the late Henry and Margaret Duplain. He was predeceased by his son, David Duplain. Bud was a United States Army veteran having served in the 5th Regiment during the Korean War where he earned a Bronze Star. He would later go on to work for Buck Office Supply.

Bud is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Gayle Duplain; grandchildren, Lee Jr., J.D., Morgan, and Jeff Duplain; and 4 great grandchildren.

A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Holly Lawn Cemetery with Chaplain Marsha Duncan officiating.
