Erma "Mimi" Ricks Jordan, 92, of Smithfield, VA passed away September 5, 2012. She was born in Southampton County the daughter of the late Mary Ann Edith Hubbard Ricks and P. Roy Ricks. She was predeceased by her husband, Calvin Smith Jordan. Erma retired from Boykins Narrow Fabrics. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church where she was active and served in several different positions. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women, Senior Luncheon Group, and Ladies Bible Class.

Erma is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanette J. and George Edwards, Edith J. and Franklin McAllister all of Smithfield; grandchildren, Ben and wife, Jill, LeAnn and husband, John, Brian, Dana, Anna B., and Jordan; 9 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Lowell Petry officiating. Burial will follow in Beechwood Cemetery in Boykins, VA. Friends may join the family other times at the residence of Jeanette and George Edwards.
