Emily Frew Crostic, 71, of Suffolk, VA passed away February 26, 2010. She was born in Norfolk, VA the daughter of the late Arthur J. Frew and Mabel M. Massengill Frew. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert M. "Bob" Crostic. Emily formerly worked as a dental assistant for T.H. Elmore D.D.S. She was a member of Holy Neck Christian Church.

Emily is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Matt Kelley of Powhatan, VA, Kathi and Ted Koschock of Surry, VA, and Deborah and Donald Newell of Suffolk, VA; granddaughter, Jeana Koschock; grandsons, Tedd Koschock and Robert Windsor; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jacqueline P. and Claude Kilby of Chester, VA, M. Alice and Richard Dickens of Hertford, NC.

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 1, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA with Rev. Reggie Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Portsmouth, VA. Friends may join the family Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home for a time of visitation.
