Elsie B. White, 83, passed away March 7, 2016. She was born in Isle of Wight County, VA the daughter of the late Walter S. Barrett and Ava Marie Darden Barrett. She was a Chuckatuck High School Class of 1950 graduate where she lettered with the girls basketball team. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Robert Earl White; sisters, Betty Burton, Eunice Bounds; and brother, Edwin Barrett.

Elsie is survived by her sons, Albert F. Buppert, Jr. (Rita Graham) and Timothy Scott Buppert; grandchildren, Erin Buppert Nowell, Becky Buppert, Joseph Boyers; sisters, Christine Rock and Effie O'Berry; step children, Susan White Davis (Archie), Robert Earl White, Jr.; step grandchildren, Patrick Davis (Keri), Benjamin Davis, Michael Davis; step great grandchild, Calvin B. Davis
