Elliott Read Booker, III, 77, of Windsor, VA passed away on May 1, 2010. A native of Farmville, VA he was the son of the late Elliott R. Booker, Jr. and Mabel McKay Booker and also predeceased by wife of 44 years, Sylvia Faye Baker Booker. He served in the U. S. Air Force. Read was the retired owner of Wagon Wheel Grocery in Ivor and a member of Suffolk Church of Christ.

Read is survived by his son and daughter in law, Paul Kevin and Lisa M. Booker of Chesapeake, VA; three grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary and Gabriella Booker of Chesapeake and numerous loving in-laws, relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service, followed by visitation, will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Suffolk Church Of Christ , 105 Robin Lane, Suffolk, VA 23434 with Fred Ford officiating. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
