Edward Graham Roberts, 72, passed away July 29, 2022.  He was born in Suffolk, VA the son of the late Ralph Roberts, Sr. and Maurine Roberts.  He was predeceased by his brother, Ralph Roberts, Jr.  Edward worked as a field engineer for Virginia Natural Gas.  He later went on to work and retired as an accountant at Southampton Hospital.  He was a member of Suffolk Christian Church where he served as a deacon and attended the Adult Sunday School Class.  He was also a member of the Suffolk Lion's Club where he served as Treasurer for over 15 years.

Edward is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sherrill Klages Roberts; daughters, Karen M. Roberts, A. Courtney Roberts, and Shannon D. Watkins; sister-in-law, Debbie Carr; nephew, Scott Carr; and great niece and nephew, Jayden Brown and Rory Outlaw.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, August 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Suffolk Christian Church with Rev. Tracy Hartman and Rev. Michael D. Halley officiating.  Burial will be held at a later date at Cedar Hill Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be made to Suffolk Christian Church.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
