Obituary

Edward Joseph Mitelski, 95, passed away February 26, 2023.  He was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA the son of the late Michael Ludwig Mitelski and Martha Hnidy Mitelski.  He was predeceased by his wife of 44 years, Anna Marie Pampani Mitelski; sons, Michael and Mitchell Mitelski; and sister, Alice Kihn-LePre.  Ed was a United States Navy veteran.  He later went on to work and retired from Ingersoll in 1990 as Plant Superintendent. After retiring, Ed moved from New Providence, NJ to Windsor, VA. He was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Franklin, VA.  He was also a member of The Lion's Club in Windsor, VA where he served as Vice President and Club Photographer.

Ed is survived by his two grandchildren, Kirsten Gartner and Michael Mitelski; three great grandchildren, Kaleigh, Gavin, and Joey; sister, Ramona Raddamaker; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 1pm at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Franklin, VA with Father Emmanuel Mensah officiating.  Burial with military honors will follow at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery at 3pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Catholic Church.  Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
