Edward Michael Laine, 54, of Norfolk, VA passed away September 4, 2011. He was the son of the late Ophelia and Edward Laine, Jr. He was also predeceased by his brother Britton C. Laine. Edward worked as a funeral attendant for Cox Funeral Home.
He is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law, Jeanette Rodrigues and Vicky and Philip Leary; two nieces; and three nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 9, 2011 at 2 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr. Suffolk, VA 23434 with the Rev. Charles W. Thompson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to the American Cancer Society, Suffolk Chapter, 604 Constance Woods Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434.
