Gauthier, Jr.
March 24, 1942 – September 23, 2017
Edmond Charles Gauthier, Jr., 75, of Windsor passed away on September 23, 2017. Born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was a long time resident of New Providence, New Jersey. He was the son of the late Edmond Charles Gauthier, Sr. and Anne Catherine Horne Gauthier. He was also predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Carol Lynne Gauthier. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, a manager for Bell Atlantic in New Jersey for 28 years. He also worked at the YMCA for 10 years Berkeley Heights, N.J. He was a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Windsor Lion's Club, Windsor Ruritan Club. He enjoyed fishing, boating, mowing the lawn on his farm and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters; Suzanne Forster and husband Daryl of South Plainfield, New Jersey and their daughter Megan; and Keri Gauthier of Virginia Beach; son Brian Gauthier and wife Mary of Bridgewater, New Jersey and their children Grace, Bryce and Brooke; sister Denise Herzog and husband Thomas of South Plainfield, New Jersey; brothers John Gauthier and wife Shelley of Atlanta, Georgia and Pierre Gauthier and wife Theresa of Schenectady, New York as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 1014 Clay Street, Franklin, Virginia with Father Charles Saglio officiating. Burial with military honors will be held at 12:00p. m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veteran's Cemetery. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation on Thursday September 28, 2017 from 2-4p.m. and from 6-9p.m. at Parr Funeral Home, 3515 Robs Drive, Suffolk, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to The Lion's Eye Bank, 600 Gresham Drive, Norfolk, Virginia 23507 . Condolences may be registered at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
