Edith Ann Harper, 67, of Sunbury, NC passed away January 29, 2008. She was born in Knoxville, TN the daughter of the late Nellie Mae Morgan. She was predeceased by her sister Nellie Russell and her former husband and friend, Bud Harper. Edith retired as a registered nurse with Obici Hospital. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Sunbury, NC.


Edith is survived by her daughter, Sandy Leigh Harper of Suffolk, VA; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Michelle Harper of Windsor, VA; granddaughters, Taylor Harper and Adrianna Harper; one great granddaughter; sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Carson Tolliver of Knoxville, TN.


A memorial service will be held Friday, February 1, 2008 at 6 p.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, HWY 32 North, Sunbury, NC 27979. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the church at P.O.
